Every year FOD invites card designs from disabled artists, who submit their designs, which are later approved by a jury after careful scrutiny. The jury comprises of experts in the field of arts.
Around 10 new designs are selected every year
. These designs are then printed and made available for use.
Salient features of the FOD Greeting Cards:
- These cards are being printed since 1994
- Cards are designed by artists with disabilities
- Cards are available as "Season's Greetings" and also as "all purpose" (blank) greetings
- Cards are available on various themes like landscapes, nature, traditional designs, human arts, floral designs...
- FOD introduces about new card designs every year. These designs are selected by a jury
- These cards serve a purpose because their sale proceeds are used for funding other projects financed by FOD and this is the only income generating project of FOD
By buying these cards, you can definitely make a difference as you
will be serving a noble cause of promoting the art work of disabled
artists. Greeting Cards is the only constant source of revenue on
which Family of Disabled runs. The minimum order you place should be for at least 40 cards. All the cards are 6.90" x 4.85" in size.
